About Me

Hi,

I’m Ozgur Ozalp! I’m a full stack software developer based in Istanbul, currently working at Actioner. I spend most of my time building modern web interfaces with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Shadcn — but I’m just as comfortable on the backend, shipping end-to-end products with Node.js, PHP, Laravel, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Prisma.

My passion for technology extends beyond writing code. I enjoy working with infrastructure tools like Docker, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka, tinkering with Kubernetes and Terraform, and sharing what I learn through technical blog posts. Contributing to open-source projects is another thing I deeply enjoy.

In my spare time I build side projects. Some of them: rock.paperscissors.online, a real-time multiplayer game built with Nuxt 3, Socket.IO, and Redis (with an iOS app built with Expo); Unfolks, a Chrome extension that shows who doesn’t follow you back on Instagram; and Photovatar, an AI-powered avatar generator.

Outside of work, I believe in leading a fulfilling and balanced life. I spend quality time with my friends, engaging in creative discussions and enjoying the little joys of life. I’m based in Istanbul and prefer working remotely while striving to push the boundaries of technology.
